This course will have a closer look at our Kagyu and Nyingma roots:

  • by recollecting the life stories of the Kagyu and Nyingma founders: Padmasambhava, Yeshe Tsogyal, Marpa, Milarepa, Gampopa, and Düsum Khyenpa;
  • by showing recent videos and slideshows of the important “power places” they established in Tibet: Samye and its retreat center Chimphu, Drowolung (Marpa’s place), Sekhar Gothuk (Milarepa’s tower), Daklha Gampo (Gampopa’s place), and Tsurphu (Düsum Khyenpa’s place);
  • by outlining their key teachings (Dzogchen, Mahamudra, Four Dharmas of Gampopa).

Location: In-person at KCCL and online with OCEAN.
