Jakob will cover what we mean by sacred outlook (or pure perception), the conditions for such insight, and the role and practice of visualization.
While the general Buddhist path provides the foundational structure and conditions for awakening, the Vajrayana introduces awakening as innately present within the unconfused core of our being – buddha nature. Our teacher, who we see as embodying this awake nature, empowers us to fully possess this natural heritage.
Being processed through the discipline of the general path, the continual commitment to the Vajrayana view, and the particular practice of sadhana, we recognize, experience, and realize the innate truth of our ground. Visualization connects us with greater insight into reality, freeing us from our habitual projections, sharpening our insight, and opening up an infinite reserve of awakened qualities.
