Samsara represents the painful cycle of dysfunction and suffering, whereas nirvana epitomizes the liberation inherent in our true nature. We would want to acknowledge that, despite our yearning for happiness, we often entangle ourselves in complexity and frustration. This recognition lays the groundwork for our spiritual journey, encouraging us to heed the Buddha’s insights on the origins of confusion and the avenues to liberation. By doing so, we then actively cultivate the conditions conducive to freedom and enlightenment through the path.
