Journey with us to December 1972 and listen to Trungpa Rinpoche’s teachings on the life of Padmasambhava.

These teachings have been gathered in the book Crazy Wisdom and contain pith spiritual instructions for practitioners at all levels on nowness, hopelessness and fearlessness, in the penetrating and personal style that characterized Rinpoche’s genius.

We listened to Trungpa Rinpoche’s recorded talk one week, followed by faculty presentation and group discussion. The following week listened to and discuss the questions and answer interchanges of each talk. We will also follow along in the book.

About the Instructors

Jan Wilcox became a student of Trungpa Rinpoche in 1975 in Berkeley and moved to Boulder in 1977, where she dedicated much of her time to kasung service. She became a student of Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamsto in 1993 and has been studying and singing those teachings ever since. Jan has been an active dharma teacher for much of the past 30 years. She currently lives in the Catskill Mountains of New York where she works as a glass artist and wonders what impermanence will bring.
