The last class of this series will be this evening, February 24. This is one class less than originally planned.
” The Abhidharma deals very precisely and impartially with our particular type of mind and it is tremendously helpful for us to see our mind that way. The whole approach of Buddhism is oriented towards dealing with everyday life situations rather than just meditating in order to attain enlightenment”. -Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
Glimpses of Abhidharma has long been one of my favorite series of CTR’s foundational teachings. His uniquely experiential articulation of the development of mind and consciousness makes the Abhidharma a fascinating portrait of how we flicker in and out of awareness. Over the course of six weeks, we will do a close reading of the text with ample time for discussion. – D Nudell
