Gerardo Abboud is President of Dongyuling Drukpa Kagyu Center, established in Argentina in 1986, where he gives regular teachings and conducts retreats.
Born in Argentina, Gerardo traveled to India and Nepal in 1970 where he stayed for 15 years, studying and practicing the paths of Mahamudra and Dzogchen.
He has served as a Tibetan/English and Tibetan/Spanish interpretor for many lamas, including Tsoknyi Rinpoche (2000 to 2016), and the Dalai Lama in Latin America since in 1992.
Gerardo taught an Ocean course on the Mahamudra Aspiration of Rangjung Dorje in the spring of 2022.
