Green Tara

Tara practices in general are associated with the development of compassion and warmth towards oneself and others. As such, the Tara deity is considered the Mother of all the buddhas, the peaceful protector who comes to our aid to relieve us from physical and psychological suffering.

Green Tara is associated with enlightened activity, abundance and connectivity to the unfoldment of life, both within and around us.

The liturgy we use was composed by Khenpo Tsültrim Gyamtso Rinpoche and includes listening to his songs of realization sung by his senior students and contemplation of the sixteen types of fears Tara practice addresses.
