ParticipantA little technical question:
Dear Patricia, I enrolled in Bodhicitta Part II using an apple computer and Part III using an iPad (I didn’t yet finish this class). Any idea as to why the two classes are not linked under the roof of ocean. chronicleproject.com? Shouldn’t I be able to access the two classes regardless of which one I am using? I believe I used the same name and email address to register. May be I created another account by mistake? Your insights would be welcome but it’s not that important. Just good information for the future. Thank you very much for your time and patience. Sylvie C.

ParticipantPamela, Christopher, I too was a Shambhala student. At the moment I find myself into my second year of the karuna Training program led by an old student of CTR and the Lojon class feels like an echo of the teaching that I am slowly learning to put into action. I too Christopher intend to learn the slogan by memory as I found that in daily life, being able to oscillate back and forth between relative and absolute is very helpful. It reveals so much!
Even though I still might not be able to jump in for the live zoom sessions, I too am looking forward to contemplating Point Six under Barry and Daniel’s guidance with you all.
Hm… Lots of “too” / two, in this message : )

ParticipantI couldn’t be present in person BUT I felt I was. Thank you so very much for posting the video recordings.
Special thanks to Barry and Daniel.

ParticipantThis is a fantastic class! Just finished to catch up on March 7…
Bought CTR’s book in 1993… Took several classes that degenerated into verbal joust between teachers… Disappointment lead to the discovery of J. Lief ! : )
Barry’s teaching / guidance throws light on so many things. It is clear and it leaves so much space for personal contemplation in / out of the cushion. I enjoy the pointing out, the loops and repetitions.
Thank you to all of you live participants!

ParticipantGood morning all,
Thank you for this clear introduction on the Tonglen practice (slogan #7). I liked the metaphors of the effect of “water on rocks” (very very slow)… And the many many “injections” required to look into the “me” first conditioning. It seems that this practice requires a great deal of trust in basic sanity, much gentleness, and also a sense of humor (so that it doesn’t become another ego’s fixation? = “Spiritual Materialism”? ).
I tried to get into the February 21 class but found myself alone for 10 mn (I probably miscalculated the time from East to West…). I shall listen to the recording when posted and try to join in again February 28.
Thank you all (participants, teacher and facilitator).
Warmly, Sylvie
