Seconded. I just started feeling my way into the Ngondro practice and look forward to being to join a group practice session, though I won’t be able to attend every week. One question that came up immediately with the long refuge (which is repeated seven times), is *how* to synchronize the long refuge liturgy recitation with the prostrations. The manual just mentions that the long refuge liturgy should be synchronized with the prostrations but does not describe how to do that. What sort of makes sense is to stand with hands in anjali at the heart center and recite “I and all sentient beings…and the lineage of teachers.”, and then synchronize each of the subsequent five “I take refuge in the” lines with the movements (anjali-forehead, anjali-throat, anjali-heart, hands to floor, full extension and back to standing). Or is it different from that?

Was there supposed to be a link to, or the text of, the Judy Lief letter (what used to be in the Ngöndro practice manual but is not in the latest edition)?

A different Buddhist take on the feast given to a prisoner condemned to die:

As a followup – Home Depot in my area will not cut 4’x8′ tempered hardboard (aka Masonite) down to smaller sizes on their saws,  they only cut untreated/uncompressed wood. Something to inquire about in your area. I ended up purchasing a 2’x4′ piece and will make that work.

Any guidance for tall people (I’m 72″ standing, with arms raised around 90″) in regards to dimensions of the prostration board, and also working with limited floor space? My shrine room longest floor dimension is 96″ so I could just manage full prostrations if I move my shrine over to one side.
