ParticipantLiew,
I will let Tillie take the first crack at this, but I want to clarify something. The upcoming class is about relative and absolute truth, not relative and absolute bodhichitta. There is a connection, obviously, but I would prefer not to muddle up the distinction.
Best,
Barry

ParticipantWow, Liew, that’s some pretty detailed and fascinating material. I will need to return when I can carve out more time to take it in fully. And I can see now that I was mistaken. You indeed have no issue with categorization. You just don’t like it to be muddled.

ParticipantSent you an e-mail about this, Emile.

ParticipantSylvie, Glad we could avoid the needlessly distracting jousting. Thanks for the kind words. I’ve been loving it too.

ParticipantPamela, That’s so sweet. I’ve been loving this and loving having you there. It’s been a richly rewarding dharma feast. Finding community is so tough these days and I’m so sorry about Shambhala coming to pieces, but we will find our way with “strong determination.” Hope to see you in part 3 in May.

ParticipantThanks, Sylvie. See you in Part 3, in May, I hope. xxoo

ParticipantSorry about that. The slogans we went through last week had been covered in Part I. As we proceed, we will discuss them in more detail.

ParticipantSteve,
I’m discussing with the Nalanda Translation Committee how the chant format of the Root Text can be obtained. Stay tuned.
Daniel can supply the reference.
