Jean Marie Robbins
Jean Marie joined Shambhala in 2014, inspired by the vision of an enlightened society based on the basic goodness of humanity. She’s become a volunteer, Meditation Instructor, and facilitator of programs. She initiated monthly conversations, in which members and friends use the dharma to examine the subtleties and power of conditioned beliefs that give rise to biases and group profiling in general and in particular about race. This past year, Jean Marie received a Dharma Relief Fellowship, designed to support Black Buddhist Teachers and Leaders. Recently as a participant in the Three Yana Retreat, she has been exploring the essence and meaning of lineage.
