Chakrasamvara Druppa

We are pleased to announce that the traditional Chakrasamvara Druppa will again be hosted at the Halifax Shambhala Centre. This retreat is traditionally conducted post-Milarepa Day, as instructed by both Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Tenga Rinpoche for the Shambhala Community.

This Druppa will include 2 sessions daily for five days, with a full feast on the final day. This Druppa will be open to all tantrikas who received the Sadhana of the five Devas of Chakrasamvara Wang, as composed by Lord Karmapa VIII. You will need your own text as the sadhana text will not be scrolled online.

We’ll start Wednesday March 4 till March 08: two sessions daily Atlantic time (1hr ahead of ET; 4hrs ahead of Pacific Time; 5hrs earlier than CET):
8:00 am – 11:30 PM Eastern Time.
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time.

This will be a group-led practice with talks and recordings throughout the practice. We will utilize the sand mandala in the Main Shrine Room as created by Tenga Rinpoche. The last day will include a full feast.

It is recommended that you register for this program. Donations in support of the Druppa can be made online. This will go towards Tsok offering, teacher gift, and Ocean. We recommended an offering of $75.00 for the full Druppa, and/or $15.00 per day.

Anky Aarts will be organizing this Druppa locally and welcomes offers of assistance with set-up, umdzeing, chopponing, and feast preparation (tsok torma and meat). Please reach out to her at 2024HRIH@gmail.com.

Restricted to those who have received the Chakrasamvara Abhisheka. The text will not be scrolled online.
