Scott Wellenbach is a long-time student of the Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and has studied with Khenpo Tsültrim Gyamtso Rinpoche, Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. Scott is a senior member of the Nalanda Translation Committee and also serves as the Dean of Translation and Language Study at Nitartha Institute. A senior teacher in both the Shambhala and Nitartha mandalas, he has a particular interest in joining the Buddhist view to meditation practice in a transformative way.
